A chord diagram is a schematic representation of a section of the fretboard where the vertical lines are guitar strings and the horizontal lines are frets. The far left vertical line is the sixth string of the guitar, the right vertical line is the first string. The upper horizontal line indicates the upper threshold on the guitar, and the horizontal line below it indicates the first fret.
Sometimes the line marking the upper threshold may be thicker than the others. If the top line is the same thickness as all the others, it may indicate a fret. Continue reading
Music can be called a universal language. Regardless of the language in which certain songs are performed, for some reason we want to listen to certain music, even if we do not understand the meaning of the song at all.
Many scientists are struggling with questions: what determines a person’s musical taste, why some songs and music become “jaded” within a few years, and others are forgotten quickly. These same questions do not give rest to musicians and composers, because they want people to like their work. “Music and plants… The connection between these words seems incredible at first. One of the pioneers of studying the effect of music on plants is the Indian scientist Singh. His students conducted an experiment on onion bulbs. Studies have clearly shown that plants responded positively to the music of wind and water noises, while plants responded to heavy rock by reducing the size of leaves and roots, and reducing their weight.
